ACS712ELCTR-30A-T
Allegro ACS712ELCTR-30A-T Hall-effect current sensor, ±30 A with 66 mV/A sensitivity, 2.4 kVRMS isolation and a 5 V output in an 8-pin SOIC.
The ACS712ELCTR-30A-T is an Allegro MicroSystems ACS712 fully integrated, Hall-effect-based linear current sensor IC with a ±30 A range, in an 8-pin SOIC package. The device consists of a precise, low-offset linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path located near the surface of the die, so the current flows through a low-resistance internal conductor and the resulting magnetic field is sensed by the Hall IC and converted into a proportional voltage. The chopper-stabilized BiCMOS circuit is programmed for accuracy after packaging, which gives a low offset, a nearly zero magnetic hysteresis and a stable output over temperature, and the device provides a total output error of about 1.5 percent at 25 °C. The 30A version offers a sensitivity of 66 mV/A, the widest range of the family, so it measures the largest current but with the least resolution. It provides 2.4 kVRMS isolation between the current path and the signal path, an internal conductor resistance of about 1.2 mOhm to minimize power loss, a bandwidth up to 80 kHz and a 5 V single supply operation with a ratiometric output, over a -40 °C to +85 °C range. Typical uses include motor control, high-current load detection, switched-mode power supplies and overcurrent protection. Every sensor BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the range and plan the isolation and layout.
FAE Professional Review
The ACS712ELCTR-30A-T is the wide-range choice for a high-current load where the resolution is less critical, such as a large motor or a high-power supply branch. The internal conductor keeps the insertion loss low and the 2.4 kVRMS isolation simplifies the interface. Confirm the peak current stays within the ±30 A range and consider the noise at the lower sensitivity.

Frequently Asked Questions
What projects suit the ACS712ELCTR-30A-T?
It suits a high-current load such as a large motor or a high-power supply branch, where the range matters more than the resolution. The 66 mV/A sensitivity gives the widest range of the family.
Confirm the peak current stays within the ±30 A range.
How does the range affect the measurement?
A wider range measures a larger current but with a lower sensitivity and a coarser resolution, so choose the smallest range that covers the maximum current. Use this 30A version only when the current is genuinely higher than the 20A version can measure.
Our FAE team can help match the range to the load.
Is the sensor genuine and documented?
BeiLuo supplies factory-traceable ACS712ELCTR-30A-T sensors with an import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS file on every order. Stock is normally available and the datasheet downloads from this page.
