Allegro Motor Driver Distributor | Stepper and DC Drivers
Genuine Allegro MicroSystems motor drivers: the A4988 microstepping stepper driver and the A4950 full-bridge DC driver with integrated protection.
Allegro Motor Drivers Overview
BeiLuo supplies genuine Allegro MicroSystems motor driver ICs, the integrated DMOS devices that drive stepper, brushed DC and brushless motors with a low on-resistance and built-in protection. Allegro's drivers integrate the control logic and the power stage on one die, so a designer can move a motor with a few logic signals rather than a discrete bridge. The A4988 is a complete microstepping driver with a built-in translator that drives a bipolar stepper motor in full, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth step modes, with an output capability up to 35 V and ±2 A and a fixed off-time current regulator that can operate in slow or mixed decay. The A4950 is a full-bridge PWM driver for brushed DC motors, capable of peak output currents up to ±3.5 A and operating voltages up to 40 V, with adjustable PWM current limiting and internal synchronous rectification, and the A4950K is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified for automotive use. Both families include overcurrent protection, motor lead short protection, under-voltage lockout and crossover-current protection, and come in compact surface-mount packages. Typical applications include 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics, building automation, camera positioning, pumps and automotive actuators. Every driver BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the driver, set the current limit and plan the thermal design.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I read the Allegro motor driver table?
Supply Voltage sets the motor supply range, Output Current the drive capability, and Package the thermal and mechanical fit. Temperature gives the grade and Features the control method.
Size the current limit below the motor rating and check the thermal margin.
Stepper or brushed DC: which driver do I need?
Choose the A4988 for a bipolar stepper motor that needs microstepping and a built-in translator, and the A4950 for a brushed DC motor that needs PWM speed and direction control. Both integrate the power stage and the protection.
Our FAE team can help match the driver to the motor.
How do I set the current limit?
Set the current limit with the sense resistor and the reference voltage so the peak coil current stays below the motor's rating, and keep the driver within its thermal limit. The A4950 adds an adjustable PWM current limit, and the A4988 uses a fixed off-time regulator.
Our FAE team can review the current limit and the thermal design.
Are the drivers genuine and documented?
Every Allegro driver BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Mainstream models are held in regional warehouses.
